Our Saturday classes are suitable for students in school years 7 -11.
Beginner Drawing Skills
(suitable for students school years 6-9)
Saturday 10:30-12:30
Thursdays 17:00-18:30
This drawing skills class is aimed at 11-16 year olds and focusses on drawing styles and techniques. We explore a range of mediums including pencil, pen and ink, pastels & oil pastels. During our sessions we experiment with line types, value, shading, hatching and drawing composition.
If you are interested in refining your drawing skills and techniques this is the class for you.
Advanced Drawing Skills
(suitable for school years 8-11)
Tuesdays 17:00-18:30
Saturdays 14:45 -16:15
The advanced drawing skills class is aimed at the more confident student. It is perfect for those who wish to do their 11+/13+ art scholarships exams and/or those wishing to continue with art as a GSCE subject. This is a project based course with a new theme each term.
During these sessions we also offer support with GCSE coursework and portfolio creation.
Please note that prospective students will need to do a trial to gain admission to this class.
